Meet the African American Museum of Southern Arizona at Whiskey Del Bac

Whiskey Del Bac is thrilled to be partnering with the African American Museum of Southern Arizona to learn about the Museum’s Mission to gather and share stories, images, and artifacts as they document, digitize, and preserve African American and Black life, culture, and history in Southern Arizona to benefit the community.

This presentation will be led by the Museum’s Director, Ms. Nikieia Johnson, and will touch on various aspects of the African American population in southern Arizona over the years. The lecture and presentation will conclude with an immersive activity led by the Museum staff. All ages are welcome to attend, however guests under 21 must be accompanied by an adult.

Be sure to purchase a delicious dessert treat from Daunyel Clayton, owner of Sweets, Cakes, and Treats. She will be on-site sharing her homemade sweets for you to enjoy at the distillery or to bring home for your friends and family.

$10.00 admission / A portion of the proceeds from this event will be donated to support the Museum’s mission and service to the community.
