Reilly Craft Pizza & Drink is hosting the first of many dinners for its new Pop-Up Series from 6:30 – 9:30 p.m. on Wednesday, October 23.

The dinner series will take place inside Reilly’s Beer Garden and each one will feature local food personalities. For the first dinner, the local food celeb just so happens to be Jackie Tran, Tucson Foodie’s very own lead writer and photographer.

When he’s not scouring the city for restaurant openings, closures, and everything food-related, he’s in the kitchen whipping up some of the tastiest dishes around.

Jackie’s curated menu gives a nod to his heritage and will feature three Vietnamese-inspired courses. Each course will be expertly paired by sommelier James Blue.

Tickets are $60 per person — you’ll want to get hold of them quickly before they’re gone like the Summer’s heat.

Jackie Tran’s Pop-Up Dinner Menu

First Course

• Shallot Sausage Lettuce Wraps – Grilled Forbes Meat Company nem nuong, Merchants Garden butterhead lettuce and Thai basil, perilla, rice vermicelli, and coconut peanut sauce

Second Course

• Lemongrass Flanken Short Rib Com Tam – Broken rice, grilled lemongrass flanken Arizona beef short rib, sliced cucumber, lacto-pickled daikon and carrot, scallion relish, anchovy citronette, and toasted rice and sesame powder

Third Course

• Vietnamese Coffee Panna Cotta – Sweetened condensed milk, Vietnamese dark coffee panna cotta, chopped toasted hazelnuts, and Monsoon Chocolate cacao nibs
