Susan Post

Susan Post is a Tucson transplant. An Ohio native, she recently traded four seasons for sunshine and short sleeves year-round. With over a dozen years of journalism experience, she has served as a reporter and editor, including several delectable years covering food and restaurant news in Central Ohio. Susan is a proud Buckeye and graduated with a degree in communications from The Ohio State University. (O-H!) She is excited to get to know her new city through its food. When not trying tacos or searching for the best slice of pizza, you can find her hiking with her husband and two pups, spending time with her family and learning to cheer for the U of A.

@Lovinspoonfulstucson is closing after more than 20 years in Tucson. Its final day of service runs on Saturday, Oct. 24.

Customers can stop in between now and Saturday for one last meal. The team plans to sell down its inventory, though it hopes to have favorite dishes available. Regular hours remain 9am-3pm through the final day.

“Running this kitchen has been a labor of love, but the numbers just aren’t adding up anymore, and as parents, we have to make the hard choice to step back and take care of what matters most at home.”
