The Spicy Shrimp Taco at Baja Tacos brings the heat

Jul 2, 20191 min read

In case you missed it, Tucson Foodie’s theme for July is Spicy Explorations. We’ll be highlighting a variety of cuisines and fragrant or fiery bites that hit the spicy notes.

Ready to crank up the heat?

Try a tongue-melting Spicy Shrimp Taco ($3.75) at Baja Tacos. It brings the heat without compromising on flavor or quality ingredients.

The succulent shrimp on the soft corn tortilla is smothered in red hot chili sauce and cooled with crema, crunchy cabbage, and pico de gallo. Cue the cheese, a squeeze of lime juice, and get ready to sweat.

Pro tip: It’s cash only, come prepared.

Baja Tacos is located at 1103 W. Prince Rd. Keep up with Baja Tacos on Facebook.

Customers can stop in between now and Saturday for one last meal. The team plans to sell down its inventory, though it hopes to have favorite dishes available. Regular hours remain 9am-3pm through the final day.

“Running this kitchen has been a labor of love, but the numbers just aren’t adding up anymore, and as parents, we have to make the hard choice to step back and take care of what matters most at home.”
