Join award-winning Matilda Santa Cruz, Saturday, Oct. 19, 11:00 am, for lunch and “Everything You Wanted to Know About Making Tamales”. In this hands-on class you’ll learn everything you need to know to fill, fold, and steam these amazing bundles.
Lunch will be tamales, beans, rice, and pico de gallo along with horchata and pina colada, prepared by Abuela Santa Cruz. After lunch, we will receive ½ dozen prepared tamales as well as our attempts at rolling.
