The Tucson Originals are back with one of the city’s favorite food events: the 2025 Pizza Throwdown & Dessert Duel. Join us on Saturday, May 17th from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Fresco Pizzeria & Pastaria (3011 E Speedway Blvd) for an evening of outstanding local pizza, creative desserts, and craft beer.
This annual showdown brings together some of Tucson’s best pizzerias and bakers to compete for the top spot, as decided by you, the guests. Sample unlimited slices and desserts from some of the city’s top culinary talent and cast your vote to crown this year’s Pizza Throwdown Champion and Dessert Duel Winner.

To complement the food, Barrio Brewing Co. will be onsite pouring a curated selection of local brews. Tickets include three drink tickets plus unlimited tastings of pizza and desserts throughout the evening.
