Heirloom Farmers Markets is bringing back Viva La Local Food Festival for fall. For one day only, a handful of Tucson’s top restaurants, 80+ farmers market vendors, local breweries and wineries, and live music will fill Rillito Park.

Heirloom co-executive director Manish Shah said, “We are thrilled to once again offer this one of a kind event featuring Baja Arizona’s best locally produced foods and cuisine. It’s a foodie’s paradise that supports the local food system and fosters community. We’ve created the ultimate local food experience.”

No need to worry about having a place to leave your fresh purchases from Baja Arizona’s farmers market vendors. The complementary Veggie Valet will take care of them while you explore. All plates, wines, and beers are $5 each, so you’ll have the opportunity to try a variety of cuisines. Local musicians Reno Del Mar, The Missing Parts, The Bennu, and Hey, Bucko will perform throughout the day.

Viva La Local Food Festival takes place Sunday, November 16 from 9am to 5pm. Admission is $4, kids under age 12 enter free. Proceeds benefit Heirloom Farmers Markets initiatives.
