Popular Tucson Vietnamese restaurant Miss Saigon is expanding its reach with a new location at 250 S. Craycroft, set to open its doors in August.

It will be the fourth Miss Saigon since the original launched at 1072 N. Campbell Ave. in 2001.

The second Miss Saigon opened at 4650 W. Ina Road in 2008 and the third at 47 N. Sixth Ave., downtown, last year.

Owner Steve Ma, said the new location is in response to a regular request.

“I have a lot of customers from the east side of Tucson,” he said. “They always ask that I open something more central. The drive to downtown, Campbell and Ina is just too far.”

Ma said the new spot, last home to Just Desserts & Coffee House, will serve a similar menu to the other restaurants.

A resident of Vail, Ma said he will most likely continue east for the local chain’s fifth location, possibly setting up somewhere around East Broadway and North Pantano Road.
