For a dose of mystery and surprise with fine dining, check out Pop-Up Tucson’s upcoming scenic rooftop pop-up dinner at 6 p.m., Thursday, September 1.
In true Pop-Up Tucson style, the location will be announced 24 hours prior to the event, while the menu will be announced 48 hours prior to the event. The featured chefs are Riley Chandler and Jose Zavala, who are are creating the menu with five courses, each paired with wine.
Chandler started in his grandma’s kitchen making pasta and bread from scratch, then worked his way into the kitchens of Chef Janos Wilder. Most recently, he runs Pop-Up Tucson, provides cooking demonstrations at Williams Sonoma at La Encantada, and assists with events at Carriage House.
Zavala started in Maynards Kitchen before spending time as a chef at Ermanos Craft Beer &Â Wine Bar. He is now focusing on starting up a web-based food show Bitter Sweet, which will feature the pop-up dinner.
The event is also offering a Chef’s Table option, where a party of up to 6 can sit privately by the kitchen.
All-inclusive tickets are $100 per person. Chef’s Table tickets are $125. For more information and to make reservations, please visit the rileychandlerpc.com.
