Oktoberfest is the time of year to celebrate the marriage of King Ludwig I and Princess Therese of Saxe-Hildburghausen. Say that three times fast.

You don’t need historical context to enjoy yourself when there’s beer and German food involved, however. Here are some of the Oktoberfests in Tucson for the remainder of 2016.

Oktoberfest at Tucson Hop Shop

Sierra Nevada Brewing Co. will pour their seasonal Oktoberfest and give away beer steins while supplies last. Haus of Brats will supply brats and spätzle, while Old Pueblo Pretzels will provide soft pretzels.
