While creative chefs draw culinary inspiration from many sources, this Friday night, Tucson Foodie’s very own Adam Lehrman will be a main ingredient. That is, in a hilarious “dish” of improvised comedy with Tucson Improv Movement (TIM).
TIM’s “Soapbox” comedy team regularly features locals such as Lehrman as “monologists,” who provide the raw ingredients in the form of their own unique story that the team then transforms into a night of comedy scenes.
The comedy group breaks the monologist’s story into a number of segments, acted out by two person , as well as larger “group games” that feature more than two improvisers on stage at the same time.
The night begins at 9 p.m. at the Tucson Improv Movement theater located at 329 E. 7th St., just off of Fourth Avenue.
The theater is within walking distance of a number of bars and restaurants, such as Tap & Bottle, Ermanos, Che’s Lounge, The Shanty, Surly Wench,  as well as Flycatcher. Grab a bite or drink before heading over. Tickets are available online or at the door for $5.
More information, including tickets, can be found on the The Soapbox with Adam Lehrman Facebook event page.
