Fourth Avenue staple The Coronet announced they are expanding their hours to include Wednesdays from 5 – 10 p.m. beginning September 6.

Additionally, the Iron John’s Brewing Company collaboration has switched from Thursday to Wednesday — each event will include a new Iron John’s brew and dinner special that complements the beer. Brewer John Adkisson will be on site as well to answer questions and demonstrate pouring etiquette.

Vivacious vibes from live music have also expanded to include every Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday, with other days on occasion.

Lastly, the Coronet will feature nightly specials every Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday. Previous globally-inspired dishes include baby eggplants stuffed with Indian peanut masala and butter-poached cod with berry-vodka sauce, lingonberry, and potato.

Guests can also look forward to the new menu, the creation of executive chef Erika Bostick and new chef de cuisine Mahmoud “Moody” Elbarasi, to be released around the beginning of October.

The Coronet is located at 402 E. 9th St. and can be reached at (520) 222-9889. For more information, visit cafecoronet.com.
