Monday night, the generator belonging to the Takoyaki Balls food truck was stolen, and now they’re asking for some help from the community.

The food truck posted to Facebook, asking their followers to be on the lookout.

They’re asking that if anyone who lives in the area of Third Avenue, between 15th and 16th Street, to be on the lookout for a Honda EU7000 generator — a piece of equipment that’s nearly worth $5,000.

“It was secured to the truck with several locks and very thick chains,” Takoyaki Balls stated in a separate Facebook post. “Someone would have had to use a metal cutting tool to remove, which should have caused lots of noise and sparks.”
