There’s a bunch of new flavors coming to Arizona Stadium.
Barrio Charro is teaming up with the University of Arizona for the upcoming Wildcats Football season, making their delicious bites available during the games.
Imagine your stomach grumbling in the first quarter of the game and the popcorn and sunflower seeds aren’t cuttin’ it when it comes to putting your hunger on the bench.
Now, you’ll have the ability to order tortas like the Rincon Relleno or Pueblo Quesabirria, homemade cookies made with Don Guerra’s Barrio grain flour, and other familiar dishes found at their original location.
In addition to the home games, Barrio Charro will be serving things up for tailgates and other game-day events happening on campus. The schedule for this year’s football schedule has already been released so you can start planning now.
Back at the home base near Prince and Campbell, some changes are coming to the hours of operation in order for the crew to better prepare the demand on campus.
Beginning Sunday, August 1, the revised hours of operation will be 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. on Monday – Friday and 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. These hours will be for dine-in, takeout, and delivery. Barrio Charro will also be operating catering services for brunch, lunch, and dinner outside of the regular hours.
If you’ve yet to stop by Barrio Charro, it’s a team effort by local baker and owner of Barrio Bread, Don Guerra, and chef Carlotta Flores of the Si Charro.
Barrio Charro is located at 3699 N. Campbell Ave. For more information, follow them on Facebook or visit barriocharro.com.
