The family of restaurants partner with TM International for the 2021 Toy Haul

For the fifth year in a row, Flores Concepts and Si Charro! Restaurants have teamed up with Tattoo Manufacturing International to hand out thousands of gifts and tons of smiles around Tucson.

The annual drive is called the “Toy Haul” and it first began with the two local companies joining forces to distribute certain gifts to a few area schools. Fast forward to 2021 and the Toy Haul has grown into a so-called “Secret Santa” event — doing good for others in the community.

Last year, the team worked on drive-thru events to spread some holiday cheer to schools including Jon B. Wright Elementary.

This year, as communities are still dealing with the effects of the pandemic, the two businesses included a significant donation of hand sanitizer in addition to the massive toy haul — nearly a quarter of a million-dollar donation to area schools in Tucson Unified School District, Sunnyside, and Marana.

Additionally, the toys and sanitizer donations were distributed to groups tied to the local United Way, Boys and Girls Clubs, Ronald McDonald House, Easter Seals, and multiple smaller nonprofits and schools.
