Celebrate local businesses with these dope deals

Whether you celebrate the holiday or not, here are a few specials and events to attend with your best buds on Wednesday, April 20.

4th Avenue Deli

425 N. Fourth Ave.

From 11 a.m. – 7 p.m., the deli is throwing in chips and a drink for just $1 when a sandwich is purchased.

Arte Bella on 4th Avenue

340 N. Fourth Ave.

The restaurant/puff-n-paint spot on the Avenue is hosting a 420 Bash featuring live music, a vendor fair, tie-dying classes, drop-in painting all day, and food and drinks specials. The party runs from noon – midnight.

Cheba Hut

446 N. Campbell Ave. #150

On Wednesday, April 20, the restaurant is offering any nug-sized sandwich for $4.20 and you’ll also get a free celebratory frisbee to toss around afterward. Plus, they’re offering prizes, like free Cheba Hut for a year, and the first 100 visitors will get a free Cheba Grinder.

Tap & Bottle

403 N. Sixth Ave. #135 • 7254 N. Oracle Rd.

Both locations have something dank chillin’ in the fridges and it’s a beer Tap & Bottle claims is “one of the greatest West Coast IPAs in existence.” Well, the Dank and Sticky by The Hop Concept has made its annual return to the bottle shop.

Tucson Hop Shop

3230 N. Dodge Blvd., Unit H

From 4:30 – 9 p.m., the popular craft beer spot is hosting “Beers and Buds IV.” It’s a joint effort between Tucson Hop Shop, The Bennu, Prime Leaf, and Grown4, celebrating 4/20 by combining “all the things that make this holiday among the best daze of the year.” Ciao Down food truck will also be onsite with their legendary local pizza and The Bennu starts playing music at 6 p.m.

One more local and honorable mention is the 420 Taco food truck. Their motto is that they “smoke everything,” in reference to the meat found on the menu. However, don’t overlook their veggie tacos. You can find them parked in multiple spots around Tucson, including Arizona Beer House, The Pit, and others in the area.
