here’s the bad news

At the end of this year, Mantis Gourmet Chinese Food is permanently closing its doors at 8250 N. Cortaro Rd. The very last day to grab a bite from the restaurant is Saturday, December 31.

The closure is due to some leasing and rent issues with the owners of the shopping complex. Also, the neighboring dental office is planning to knock down the dividing wall and expand into Mantis Gourmet Chinese Food’s current suite.

here’s the good news

There are some positive developments, though, for Mantis fans in Marana and beyond.

The restaurant is planning to reopen again. They’re unsure of the whereabouts at the moment but keep an eye out on their social media for any updates. Also, we’ll let you know once we find out, too.

In the meantime, stop by Mantis and show your love and support before they move out of the strip near Cortaro and I-10. The restaurant is open 11 a.m. – 8 p.m. on Monday – Saturday and closed on Sunday.
