Pucker up and celebrate the citrus season!
2023 is off and running and this year local oranges, grapefruits, lemons, tangelos, and kumquats are flourishing on the trees — waiting to be picked and enjoyed.
The Heirloom Farmers Markets are excited to be highlighting the fresh and zesty fruit with its own Citrus Week and Citrus Jubilee. You’ll find tangy bread and pastries, citrus jams and jellies, freshly squeezed juice, orange blossom honey, flavored olive oils and vinegar, and scented soaps highlighting this vibrant fruit.
The market has multiple locations participating throughout the week from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. The events begin on Wednesday, January 18 in Green Valley and continue on Friday, January 20 at Udall Park, Saturday, January 21 in Oro Valley (Steam Pump Ranch) and Rincon Valley. The final day and event, the Citrus Jubilee, is happening on Sunday, January 22 at Rillito Park (Food Pavilion)
