Tucson has been buzzing as of late when it comes to local events.
Recently, we’ve been treated to the Tucson Festival of Books and the Fourth Avenue Street Fair, and now the Made in Tucson Market will take place along Seventh Street near Fourth Avenue. On Sunday, April 7, from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m., the street will transform into a haven for all things locally made.
“The Made in Tucson Market is a celebration of the risk-takers and dream-makers that personify the Tucson maker movement. It honors the authentic nature of the rugged desert and the unique spirits that call it home. It revels in the profound resilience and connection of our community. “
But here’s the kicker: the edible delights! Think pineapple banana bread, oatmeal creme pies, and a myriad of other homemade treats begging to be devoured. Warning: resisting the urge to buy everything may be futile.
