Hockey and beer are for one and all, if you’re at least 21 years old, of course. Join the Tucson Roadrunners for an all-inclusive sporting and beer event.
The Tucson Roadrunners are hosting the return of Hockey & Hops on Saturday, March 4. The beer starts flowing at 4 p.m. and the players hit the ice at 7 p.m. This event also happens to fall on the “Hockey is for Everyone” theme night.
In total, representatives from eight breweries will be pouring some of their favorite brews in the outdoor beer garden located in Eckbo Plaza.
Your ticket, which is $50 per person, grants you access to the pregame beer garden, 12 tasting tickets, a commemorative glass, and a ticket to the game against the San Diego Gulls.
The Roadrunners have a special offer that includes a game ticket and a “Hockey Is For Everyone” Roadrunners hat. The first 250 kids in attendance who arrive wearing a hockey jersey of their favorite team (real like the Roadrunners or fictional like the Mighty Ducks) will receive a pair of kids tickets to a future Roadrunners game.
Tickets will be given away by the 96.1 KLPX, 102.1 KFMA, and 94.9 MIX FM at their tents outside the entrance to the arena.
Eckbo Plaza is at the Tucson Convention Center, located at 260 S. Church Ave. For more information and to purchase your tickets, visit tucsonroadrunners.com.
