The plant-based burger paradise at the MSA Annex is currently serving a very special collaboration with the California-based vegan cheese company, SriMu.
Behold the mighty B SRI.
Beaut Burger refers to the new burger creation as a flavor bomb, which consists of SriMu Fire Pepperjack, smoked tomato aioli, griddled green peppers, and pickled poblanos. Per usual, you’ve got the option to sandwich it all between a split-top bun, a millet and chia (GF), or Beaut Burger’s housemade slow-ferment English muffin.
“I have eaten a lot of Beaut Burgers over the years, this one is among my faves,” said Ari Shapiro of Beaut Burger. “This will pave the way for further collabs with other great plant companies.”
As mentioned earlier, SriMu is based out of California and the team prides itself on creating plant-based cheese with pure ingredients that “nourishes your body, honors animals, and transforms Mother Earth.” SriMu is 100% gluten-free, paleo, vegan, and dairy-free — “a new world take on the old world European cheeses you love.”
In addition to the new B SRI burger, the restaurant recently kicked off B SIDES — a monthly rotating special side created by two of their longstanding cooks, Daniel Montijo and Joel Robles.
If you’d like to enjoy the goods while wearing your “kiss the cook” apron and white tube socks, you can create your very own B SRI at home by adding a SriMu wheel of cheese to any Beaut Burger Home order. Beaut Burger offers different packages like the eight patties and buns pack, 16 patties pack, and 16 buns pack.
Be sure to select the SriMu cheese wheel add-on for an extra $9.95.
Beaut Burger is located at the MSA Annex, 267 S. Avenida del Convento. For more information, visit beautburger.com or beautburgerhome.com.Â
