Indie Week kicks off in Tucson on Saturday, June 24 – Tuesday, July 4, featuring its distinct local business Bingo Card. Throughout the 11 days (yes, it’s longer than a week) Local First Arizona is encouraging Arizonans to “go local” by supporting as many locally-owned businesses as possible.
Each year, traditionally over the first week of July, first-timers and returning customers across the state discover new and fun ways to support Arizona’s small, independent businesses.
This year, Foodie 500 and Insider members who submit a completed bingo card at the end of Indie Week will be entered to win a pair of tickets to the MotoSonora Pool Party on Saturday, July 15.
A handful of local restaurants, a brewery, a coffee shop, and a food truck jumping in on the fun with special discounts from Saturday, June 24 – Tuesday, July 4. Below are the participating businesses and keep an eye on the websites and social media for exclusive deals.
We’ve also put together an interactive guide listing the following spots.
There’s something for everyone at “Show, Tell, and Sell” so join Local First Arizona as they kick off Indie Week in downtown Tucson on Friday, June 23. This is also where you can pick up your Local Business Bingo Card.
Hosted at Proper Shops, a collective of local merchants and artists at 300 E. Congress St., this event will feature numerous opportunities to shop locally. For instance, there will be 14 merchants on-site and open for business, several Local First Arizona members tabling or vending exclusively for this event, and a collection of food trucks organized by yours truly, Tucson Foodie.
The event is from 4 – 9 p.m. — plenty of time to support local businesses.

The nifty Bingo Cards can be picked up at the kickoff mentioned above at Proper Shops (300 E. Congress St.) and at the participating local businesses.
