Come on, Barbie. Let’s have a Tea Party!

The time has finally come! The “Barbie” movie has made its grand debut in movie theaters and touched the hearts of fans all across the world. Here in Tucson, though, restaurants and local businesses have been celebrating big time.

From 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. on Saturday, September 2, the party continues at 5655 E. River Rd #101 where the folks at Antsy Nancy treat you to a Barbie-themed tea party. Therefore, it’s the perfect party for those who are waiting to see the movie, have already watched it multiple times, or are simply a Barbie Girl living in a Barbie World.

Or, if you’re a newcomer to the world of pink and just getting to know who Barbara Millicent “Barbie” Roberts is, you will love this “History of Barbie” Tea Party led by the owner of Antsy Nancy, Heidi Yribar.

Everyone attending the event will be served a traditional Elevenses Tea, including scones, finger sandwiches, lemonade, delicious pastries, and of course, pots of freshly brewed tea. Aside from the teas and treats, you’ll learn all about the timeline of Barbie’s history while being introduced to “one of the most stunning, personally owned Barbie collections.”

Tickets are $65 per person and can be purchased online now. Once you’re checked in, you’ll be seated for tea and a presentation.

Antsy Nancy is located at 5655 E. River Rd. #101. For more information and to reserve your spot in class, visit antsy-nancy.com.
