By Matt Sterner

Right off the bat, you’ve probably noticed the name has changed from Mt. Lemmon Coffee Bean to Mt. Lemmon Coffee and Tea Co. There are also some new menu items to enjoy more than 8,000 feet up.

Just a little over two months ago, owner Debbie Weatherly announced that the coffee shop at 12925 N. Sabino Canyon Parkway would be closed indefinitely. On Wednesday, October 11, Mt. Lemmon Coffee and Tea Co. is officially open at 11 a.m.

The following was shared on social media:

“We’re thrilled to announce that Mt. Lemmon Coffee and Tea Co. will be opening its doors. Join us and experience the perfect blend of local flavors and warm hospitality. We can’t wait to share our passion for coffee, tea, and delicious treats with you.”

The new menu now features more locally and regionally produced products like roasts from Decibel Coffee Works, Maya Tea, milk from Tirrito Farm, and syrups from Cuppa GoGo. New treats are coming into play, too, like freshly made pastries made with Hayden Flour Mills and sweets from Monsoon Chocolate.

Coffee Menu (Hot Cocoa, too)

  • Latte
  • Cappuccino
  • Caramel Macchiato
  • Mocha
  • Americano
  • Hot Chocolate

Tea Menu

  • Earl Grey
  • Green Tea
  • Berry Patch

So, take a drive up the mountain sometime soon and stop by the coffee shop. They’re officially open on Wednesday, October 11 at 11 a.m. Stay tuned for the official hours of operation.
