October 24, 2023
By Matt Sterner

Burgers, fries, and gelato!

There’s been some movement at The Boxyard on Fourth Avenue with the departures of Sal’s Fat Slice and Spice County. One of the other recent things in motion is the arrival of a brand-new burger joint in a bright yellow storage container.

Daddyburger is officially opening its doors to the public on Thursday, October 26 in the former Spice County location at 238 N. Fourth Ave.

The menu is nice and simple with a single patty, double patty, and vegan patty on the menu which can be paired with either a side of something salty — fries — or something sweet — gelato. The burgers are 100% Angus beef (excluding the vegan “Beyond” meat patty) and come with your choice of American cheese, onions, caramelized onions, arugula, pickles, and daddysauce.

Daddyburger Menu

  • Little daddyburger ($6.75)
  • Double daddyburger ($9.25)
  • Beyond Meat daddyburger ($8.25)
  • Fries ($3.50)
  • Gelato ($4) – two scoops served in a waffle cone
    • Flavors: Belgian dark chocolate, banana dulee de leche, and vanilla apple
  • daddy’s Shake ($6) – peanut butter and jelly milkshake

Stay tuned for daddyburger’s official hours of operation but they’ll be open by 5 p.m. on Thursday, October 26. The Boxyard’s current hours are 11 a.m. – midnight on Sunday – Wednesday and 11 a.m. – 2 a.m. on Thursday – Saturday.
