Last year, Hector and Marnel Martinez embarked on a journey that’s proven to have paid off. The duo opened their very own beer, wine, and bottle shop, The Hoppy Vine, at 12125 N. Oracle Rd. and now they’re ready to party — they’re celebrating their first anniversary.

“We’re super excited to say that we’re finally some of the ‘cool kids’ who get to throw an anniversary party,” said Marnel. “We’ll also have prizes all day, so it should be a lot of fun! “

On Friday, November 24, take a break from your Black Friday shopping spree and head on down to The Hoppy Vine from noon – 10 p.m. They’ll have live music by Lizzie from 1:30 – 3:30 p.m., Little House of Funk from 4 – 6 p.m., and Shannon Wiancko from 1 – 8:30 p.m.

There’s going to be a lot to eat, too, like Sonoran hot dogs from At-Ease Cookz from noon – 4 p.m., tacos and quesadillas from Las Vigas from 4 – 8 p.m., and then next door at Peachwave Yogurt, they’ll be serving special Hoppy Vine flavors on Friday.

Plus, they serve yummy charcuterie boards if you’re looking for something light and fresh. You’re always welcome and encouraged to bring your favorite foods in to be enjoyed from the taproom or out on the mountain-view-filled patio.

Oh, and the prizes! You’ll just have to stop by The Hoppy Vine for a chance to win.

The taproom houses a row of coolers consisting of craft beer, wine, and champagne as well as wine-based cocktails, sake, seltzers, and ciders. Are you one with a penchant for non-alcoholic beverages? They’ve got you covered on that front, too, with offerings that will include non-alcoholic beer, seltzers, and canned mocktails.

The Hoppy Vine is located in Oro Valley at 12125 N. Oracle Rd. For more information visit thehoppyvineov.com.
