Nearly two years ago, Tino’s Pizza closed its doors at 6610 E. Tanque Verde Rd. after more than 35 years in business. The space will soon be filled with hot teas, colorful cold teas, coffee, and other concoctions when The Scented Leaf opens its third location next year.

The beloved tea shop shared the following on social media:

” Tucson, get ready to drink more tea! The Scented Leaf is coming to the east side of Tucson! We are thrilled to announce that our third location is set to open early 2024 at Tanque Verde and Kolb. Located in the former Tino’s pizzeria, we will be bringing all of your favorite teas, drinks, and more straight to the heart of east side Tucson.”

It’s a bustlin’ area over there near Tanque Verde and Kolb Roads. Zio Peppe is slinging pizza and pasta, Pinnacle Peak is snipping ties and grilling steaks, there’s a Tyrannosaurus Rex on the loose, and all of the stuff we can’t get enough of at the iconic Golf N’ Stuff.

The Scented Leaf has been open for more than 10 years now, serving a variety of teas from all over the globe.

“Indulge your senses with our assortment of flavors and signature drinks, because we know it’s the little magical moments each day that empower us all to be our best.”

The Scented Leaf is currently located at 308 E. Congress St. and 943 E. University Blvd. Ste 165, and then in the near future at 6610 E. Tanque Verde Rd. (in early 2024). For more information, visit thescentedleaf.com.
