Pelican’s Snoballs is Reopening (First 100 People Get a Freebie)

By Matt Sterner

Back in October 2023, some of the team stopped by Pelican’s Snoballs at 919 N. Stone Ave. #1104 to check out their New Orleans-inspired shaved ice treats. Then, in November 2023, the shop temporarily closed for the winter.

Now, Desiree Jones and the team are ready to reopen the doors during an official Grand Reopening celebration beginning at noon on Saturday, March 2 — with freebies, too.

They’ll be offering free Kiddie Snoballs, which include two flavors, to the first 100 customers. Sweet!

Pelican’s Snoballs has more than 100 flavors on the menu including the traditional Coconut, Blueberry, Black Cherry, Banana, etc., but if you’re feeling like living on the wild side, get one of the more unique flavors. Make it a Wedding Cake or an Egg Custard flavored snoball, why don’t you?

If I’m feeling like a Wild Thang (that’s also a flavor on the menu), I typically go for the Toothpaste flavored snoball (an actual option). I’ve got the freshest breath in town after one of those brain-freezers.

Pelican’s Snoballs is located at 919 N. Stone Ave. #1104. For more information, visit pelicanssnoballs.com and follow Pelican’s Snoballs on Instagram.
