Baggin’s is Bringing its Gourmet Sandwiches to Scottsdale

Over the years, Baggin’s has truly found its footing here in the desert. In 1984, the restaurant’s journey began “with a little chocolate chip cookie made from scratch at our founder’s, Cheree Garrett-Jeffries home.”

To this day, they still serve a cookie with every sandwich (that’s pretty neat).

Now, they’re taking their 40-year-old business to Scottsdale! The local team behind Baggin’s is aiming to open its brand-new location at 14202 N. Scottsdale Rd. by the end of May 2024.

Therefore, the classic sandwiches and other favorites like the Grinder, Cowboy, and Bread Bowl Salads are coming to the Phoenix area — the farthest the restaurant has stretched its reach in Arizona.

There are more than 10 Baggin’s locations in Tucson, including one in Marana, a spot in Oro Valley, and another in Rita Ranch out on Old Vail Road.

Baggin’s has been known for using high-quality ingredients, teaming up with other local businesses like Viro’s Italian Bakery, and its signature sandwich combinations. One of those is the Unforgettable. The combo of turkey breast, cream cheese, mayo, bacon, sprouts, tomato, and avocado on 12-grain bread is more than memorable.

In Scottsdale, they’ll also offer catering services, such as deli sides by the pound, whole cakes, dessert platters, and hot and cold sandwich bundles for five to 5,000 eaters.
