The plant-based gold mine, which is quickly approaching its sixth anniversary at the MSA Annex, is known for its unprocessed approach to classic fare, starting with its signature house-made patty and bun. Over the years they’ve added more whole food items, such as Flash-Fried Green Beans and the popular Fooled Pork, made with shredded jackfruit.
But, the burgers will always be classics! One of my favorites is the B8 burger.
It’s a housemade, flavor-packed grain and veggie patty topped with frizzled onions, tomato, pickled poblano, and smoked tomato aioli. The B8 burger is served with one patty but you can make it a double if your stomach is grumbling more than usual.
If you’re in the mood for some crunch, order a side of beer-battered cauliflower bites — you’ll be in foodie heaven.
