If you’re like me, you love a good opportunity to bring people together.
That’s exactly what Cannafriends founder, Amethyst Kinney, aims to do. The organization meets monthly to connect patients to new brands, brands to potential employees, and, of course, to make friends.
American Eat Co., a south side staple offering a mix of contemporary eats at 1439 S. Fourth Ave., has opened its doors to the event, hosting for the first time from 6 – 9 p.m. on Monday, September 23.
The networking event gives guests the opportunity to sample a plethora of cannabis products while engaging with the brands’ local representatives.
Folks who come to the event will have the opportunity to learn about different strains and find out where to buy locally while enjoying live entertainment. DJ Kelvin Blessed the Beat will be providing the tunes with performances by Sour D, Skwid, and Trip Tarantino.
Tickets to the event are $10 per person and can be purchased online.
“We could not be more excited,” said Kinney. “It’s great how the cannabis community comes together.”
While the American Eat Co. restaurants will be closed, there will be select food vendors on site. Keep scrolling to see participating brands and food vendors!
Again, this event is happening from 6 – 9 p.m. on Monday, September 23. Get your tickets!
