Monday Munchies: Cheesy Specials at Fiamme Pizza

We recently shared a few local spots offering pizza slice combos for $10 or less (Fiamme Pizza being one of those), but if you’re looking for more than a slice — at a great price — don’t overlook these deals at 4706 E. Sunrise Dr.

First, there’s the Lunch Combo — a deal that’ll make any pizza lover go bonkers. For $15 you can get a personal-size Margherita pizza (nine inches), a salad, and a drink (until 5 p.m.).

Then at the beginning of the week, it’s also Margherita Mondays. This means you can order a 13-inch Margherita pizza for $8.50. Additionally, you can snag a Neo-Brooklyn slice of Margherita ingredients — including tomato sauce, basil, olive oil, and mozzarella — for just $5.50 each.

If you happen to be reading this Monday Munchies article on a Tuesday, it’s totally cool because they have a Two Slice Special for $11 and that lands you two slices of pizza and a drink on Tursday – Thursday.

At a very young age, Matt Sterner was gifted with the artistic ability to masterfully roll a burrito to the highest of standards, but the wrapped medley of delicious innards wasn’t his first love. Matt’s first true love was a combination of reading, writing, and creating. He grew up reading comics, the ingredients list of his shampoo and conditioner bottles, choose-your-own-adventure books, and the Scrabble dictionary — something he found useful when challenging his grandmother to a game.

He attended college at New Mexico State University and graduated with a degree in Digital Filmmaking. One of his favorite classes was screenwriting because he became responsible for the story’s birth before it came to life on-screen. After school, Matt took on numerous positions at a local television station in Tucson. From dealing out stories about heartbreak to producing “fluffier” content for a lifestyle broadcast, he learned what it takes to adapt to the many emotions the world of media can stir. Since 2017, Matt has dabbled in the culinary world of Tucson as well as San Diego, California from time to time.
