"As Seen on TV"

Over the years, Tucson Tamale Company, owned by Sherry and Todd Martin, has been weaving this way and that into the public eye outside of the Old Pueblo. From releasing new packaging to adding new menu items like their mini tamale bites, Tucson Tamale is easily one of the city’s favorite spots to grab a pack of wrapped ones.

Now, the tamales are coming in hot on national television. Just the other day, Tucson Tamale was featured on The Today Show‘s “Fall Food Trends” segment.

Hosted by Alejandra Ramos alongside Hoda Kotb and Jenna Bush Hager, the segment explored “must-try fall favorites,” highlighting the ease and convenience of their microwavable tamales.

“Perfectly steamed and ready in minutes, our tamales bring warmth and flavor to your autumn table without the hassle,” the Martins shared. “Thank you, Today Show, for showcasing our tamales as a cozy, delicious choice for the season!”

“This is a husband and wife team,” said Ramos. “She’s a Mexican American. He fell in love with Mexican American food when he fell in love with her.”

“They’ve created this incredible brand, and they’re microwavable, which is what’s amazing. This is like the new microwave burrito — basically amazing.”
