“Downtown Jazz Fiesta free concerts on MLK day, outstanding youth programs, a variety of food and jazz adventures, it’s a talent-packed nine days of cultural exchange and artistic collaboration. Celebrate the 91st Anniversary of the Capture of John Dillinger on Saturday, January 18th!

“We’ll have reenactments on the Plaza at Hotel Congress at 9am, 11am, 1pm, a FREE vintage car show, historic lectures, and historical walking tours of downtown. We’ll also have fully restored Tucson Fire Department trucks that actually fought the 1934 fire.

“$5 donation reserves your seat for the reenactments! Proceeds support The Tucson Fire Foundation.

“And don’t forget about the Dillinger Speakeasy! The evening will feature live entertainment from Marco & the Polos and the Johnny Hotshot Gun Show plus specials and a best-dressed contest will be going down as well! Additionally, there will be a Whiskey Tasting available for purchase on the event page (with a GA ticket included!)”

The evening begins with a champagne greeting, light appetizers, followed by a dinner  on one of Corbett’s spacious indoor Pickleball courts. Afterward, the party continues in the “speakeasy” lower level where guests can  enjoy an immersive Art/Music experience with an exclusive auction of Indigenous art, donated by Bahti Indian Arts and Ayala’s evocative guitar performance while his visual artwork is projected on screens that surround the audience.”

Menu:

  • Dinner includes a welcome glass of bubbles and a choice of a glass of red or white wine during dinner.
  • Roasted Beets, Arugula, Goat Cheese, Quinoa, Spanish Almond, Herb Vinaigrette
