On Wednesday, May 14, Seis Kitchen is officially opening its brand-new location on the east side at 6503 E. Tanque Verde Rd.
Owners Erika and Jake Muñoz have been on a roll since opening the first Seis Kitchen in 2012. With each opening, they inch closer and closer to seis locations — the Tanque Verde spot makes it four.
Chances are you’ve seen the long line that forms at the Mercado San Agustin location or grabbed a bite at the other two locations on River Road and/or Oracle Road. The fourth location will have the same menu and vibe in its new setting at the La Plaza Shoppes, which is right behind Sakura.
The newest location will be open daily from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. with breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks, and a full bar. Their weekday happy hour is from 3 to 6 p.m. on Monday through Friday.
Also, there’s a pet-friendly patio and plenty of parking in the shopping center.
With the arrival of Seis Kitchen on Tanque Verde, the area continues to grow as a dining destination. In recent years, newcomers like Zio Peppe and Noodleholics have joined the scene, while longtime favorites like The Cork brought UnCork’d Kitchen & Cocktails to the scene earlier this year.
“We’re bringing our award-winning regional Mexican cuisine, handcrafted cocktails, local and Mexican cervezas, and the same great Seis team energy to the eastside! Our crew is ready and excited to serve you.”
Seis Kitchen at La Plaza Shoppes is located at 6530 E. Tanque Verde Rd. The other locations are at 130 S. Avenida del Convento Ste. 100,1765 E. River Rd., and 9740 N. Oracle Rd. For more information, visit seiskitchen.com and follow Seis Kitchen on Instagram.
