April Foodie Dinner at Casa Del Rio Features 9-Dish Tasting Menu

Tucson Foodie will host its April Foodie Dinner on April 2 from 6 to 9 p.m. at Casa Del Rio. The Tucson foodie dinner event will feature a three-course tasting with nine distinct dishes. Guests can expect a curated experience that highlights regional flavors and chef-driven creativity.

Additionally, the intimate dinner brings diners together for a shared culinary experience. The format encourages conversation while showcasing a range of textures, techniques, and traditions. Seating remains limited, with 30 tickets available.

A Multi-Course Menu With Depth and Variety

The Tucson foodie dinner event will present a diverse lineup across three courses. Each course introduces multiple dishes, giving guests a broader look at Casa Del Rio’s kitchen.

Starters will include:

  • Toritos Gobernador — shrimp-filled chiles wrapped in bacon
  • Caldo de Queso
  • Sopa de Tortilla
  • Four-salsa flight with fresh fried chips

Main courses will include:

  • Calabacitas Rellenos, zucchini boats
  • Enmoladas de Pollo with rich mole
  • Taco Flight featuring Lu’au, Steak, and Potato tacos

Desserts will include:

  • Flan Nuevo
  • Arroz con Leche

The progression moves from bold, savory starters to rich mains and classic desserts. Each dish reflects a balance of comfort and innovation.

Optional Wine and Cocktail Pairing

Guests can enhance the experience with an optional beverage pairing. The add-on includes a wine sampling and a three-course cocktail tour for $30.

The cocktail lineup features:

  • Desert Pear Margarita
  • Blackberry Bourbon Smash
  • Cold Brew Martini

This pairing complements the menu with bright, fruit-forward, and spirit-driven flavors. It also adds another layer of exploration to the Tucson foodie dinner event.

General admission tickets cost $95 and include the full tasting menu. Guests can add the wine and cocktail pairing during checkout. Availability remains limited, and advance purchase is recommended.
