After a couple of years full of catering gigs, pop-ups, and winning local awards for their tasty wings, Pacaw’s Wings & Things is spreading its so-called wings into a brand-new food truck.
The wings, which took first place at Support Local Tucson’s 2023 Wing Off, will make their debut at The Pit Tucson, located at 7889 E. 22nd St., from 2 – 11 p.m. on Monday, September 11. The food truck will be stationed there for at least a week until they find other spots to set up shop (ahem, local taprooms and breweries).
Owner Jeremiah Osego and co-owner Jacob Ryan are stoked about this next chapter in Pacaw’s story and during the Grand Opening (Monday, September 11) they’ll even be hosting a raffle with prizes. You’ll have the chance to snag prizes like a free order of a dozen wings, a Pacaw’s t-shirt featuring the nifty logo of a buff chicken, and cash to spend wherever you’d like (Pacaw’s takes cash and cards).
Additionally, they’ll be offering 20% off for all military and first responders during the Grand Opening.
During the initial week at The Pit, the Pacaw’s food truck will be serving all of its “Wings” and the “Things” will enter the coop the following week, which includes loaded fries and Pacawitos — bacon-wrapped shrimp that’s been stuffed with cream cheese and Caribe pepper.
Below is the food truck’s Grand Opening menu. Feast your eyes on the 10+ flavors and be sure to throw Monday, September 11 on your calendar.
