Playground, located at 278 E. Congress St., recently unveiled its newest themed evening: PSSST!, which stands for Playground Super Secret Speakeasy Thursday. The team will channel the allure of “a bygone era,” adding an extra layer of pizzazz to your normal weekday.
They’ll be hosting a Happy Hour from 4 – 6 p.m. with live music starting at 8 p.m. that carries on later into the night (until 10 p.m.).
They’ll be serving a selection of specialty cocktails — from the classic and sophisticated Filthy AF Martini with gold glitter to the refreshing Part Time Influencer cocktail that comes with a mix of gin, raspberry brandy, orange liqueur, prickly pear, pineapple, and Angostura bitters.
For food, they’ll have caviar bumps, served with creme fresh and a housemade crisp for a burst of flavor. For those craving more, caviar add-ons to oysters are also available.
