Did you know female turkeys don’t gobble and that the song “Jingle Bells” wasn’t meant to be about Christmas? The tune was meant to be sung on Thanksgiving.
Here’s another fun fact: you don’t actually have to cook your Thanksgiving meal this year.
We’ve rounded up many local eateries that’ll take the cooking (and even hosting) burden off of you so that all you need to do is sit back, relax, and be thankful. Keep your taters peeled on this list as we’ll continue to update it throughout the season. Also, act fast because a lot of these deals and dinners sell out quickly.

The popular restaurant is hosting a dine-in Thanksgiving meal for $48 per person. Call (520) 327-7577 for a reservation and to make any to-go orders.
Brother John’s is open on Thanksgiving this year with seatings available from 11 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. Seats at the table are $72 per person and be sure to make a reservation by calling (520) 867-6787.

Cielos is serving a Thanksgiving buffet on Thursday, November 28 from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m.

They’re hosting a Thanksgiving meal from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. on Thursday, November 28.
From now until Sunday, November 30, Doughbird is offering “A Litle Taste of the Season” benefitting the Community Food Bank of Southern Arizona.

The Turkey Enchilada will be on the menu from Tuesday, November 26 to Saturday, November 30. However, El Charro is closed on Thanksgiving day.
The resort is hosting a Thanksgiving Brunch this year. You’ll want to make a reservation by calling (520) 544-5000. The buffet is $89.50 per adult, $28 for kids six to 12 years old, and anyone younger eats for free.
“Come the big day, we at Feast will remain closed so our crew can be with family and friends, but we’ll cook relentlessly for days beforehand, brining and roasting, slicing and baking, so that you can just give it all a little warm-up on the big day, cooking less beforehand and scrubbing less afterward. They’re hosting a Thanksgiving brunch at The Canyon Club and also a dinner at the Flying V Restaurant. “Make Thanksgiving memories at Loews Ventana Canyon Resort, where you can celebrate your way with three curated dining experiences.”
