Summer in Tucson is winding down, but we’re turning up the flavor one last time. Mark your calendars for at 5:30 p.m. on Monday, September 15 — the final installment of the Stoney Supper Summer Series ‘25 is about to make plant-based history.
This exclusive dinner is a collaboration between Tucson Doobie and Death Free Foodie, featuring two of Tucson’s most exciting chefs: Christian Padilla and Pablo Valencia. Presented by Prime Leaf Dispensary, this is a celebration of community, creativity, and breaking status-quo.
Prepare for a five-course journey that redefines plant-based dining, and includes a final touch from the folks at Tucson Chocolate Factory. Every dish is 100% vegan and gluten-free, thoughtfully crafted to surprise even the most dedicated foodies. Chefs Padilla and Valencia are known for pushing boundaries, and this dinner is no exception.
“Cannabis people and chefs were always the outcast,” Padilla said. “I’m blessed to bring the two things I’m good at together on one plate.”
Each course comes with a perfectly paired mocktail, designed to complement and elevate the meal. Guests can also enjoy curated smoke breaks courtesy of Prime Leaf — your chance to mingle, relax, and enjoy the best of Tucson’s cannabis scene. And because we love a good surprise, every guest will leave with a goody bag from Prime Leaf to keep the good vibes going.
This isn’t just another vegan dinner. It’s an exploration of what plant-based cuisine can be when talented chefs, local partners, and passionate food lovers come together. Whether you’re a seasoned vegan or just curious about the possibilities, you’ll walk away with a new appreciation for how delicious and dynamic plant-based dining can be.
