Watershed Management Group will host its tenth annual Rainwater on Tap Happy Hour on Tuesday, December 2. The event runs from 5:30-8:30 p.m. at the Living Lab and Learning Center in central Tucson. The celebration highlights the power of rain and supports the group’s conservation and education programs.
Visitors will explore rain harvesting and sustainable desert living. Staff and volunteers will guide guests through rainwater filtration, native gardens, and the group’s campus features.
Guests will also taste rainwater cocktails that feature local spirits like Whiskey del Bac and Suncliffe Gin. Organizers will also serve wine and Dragoon Brewing Company beer.
Food trucks will park on the property and serve food for purchase. The lineup vegan and vegetarian includes options.
Advance tickets cost $25. Door tickets cost $35. Each ticket includes two drink vouchers. The event supports Watershed Management Group’s $50,000 Giving Tuesday fundraising goal.
Organizers encourage guests to take the bus, bike, or carpool to reduce carbon emissions. The Speedway bus 4 stops near 1137 N. Dodge Blvd. The site offers bike parking and nearby street parking north and south of Speedway Boulevard.
