Garden Tea Tasting & Raffle Benefit for Food Bank

Acerca de

Join us in lending a hand and sipping some tea at our tea tasting, food drive, and raffle to benefit the Community Food Bank of Southern Arizona. We’re excited for this event in particular since it will take place in our secret teahouse garden!

A $10 suggested donation can be paid in advance via the link in our bio or in person at the event.

Admission includes tea service for the evening and a single raffle ticket. Raffle tickets are available at the event for $5 each or six for $25.

Monetary or non-perishable food donations to the food bank can be made at the teahouse from now up until the event itself.

100% of sales & donations go to the Community Food Bank.

Drop off your non-perishable food donations in the box under our Guanyin altar at the teahouse.

**Packages of food must be fully labeled, intact, and unopened. Glass jars can’t be accepted due to breakage.

@Jundynasty has served Sichuan dishes on Grant Road for 13 years.🌶️

General manager Jacob Yeung credits one idea above all: “We’ve grown since then, but the key has always been consistency.”

Stop in for Flaming Chili Oil, Walnut Shrimp, chow fun, or sautéed green beans finished with Sichuan peppercorns. Vegetarian and vegan options are available.

@Lovinspoonfulstucson is closing after more than 20 years in Tucson. Its final day of service runs on Saturday, Oct. 24.

Customers can stop in between now and Saturday for one last meal. The team plans to sell down its inventory, though it hopes to have favorite dishes available. Regular hours remain 9am-3pm through the final day.

“Running this kitchen has been a labor of love, but the numbers just aren’t adding up anymore, and as parents, we have to make the hard choice to step back and take care of what matters most at home.”
