Latin restaurant Contigo Cocina Latina, located at 1745 E. River Road, announced it will close permanently Sunday, May 17.
In an email newsletter posted to Facebook owner Deborah Tenino wrote:
Dear Friends,
After more than five amazing, wonderful years, Contigo Restaurant will be closing its doors on Sunday, May 17.
While we considered renewing our lease — it will not be easy to leave a place as unique and creative as Contigo — we decided against it. Though leaving is always sad, this will give us more time to spend with family.
We are very grateful to everyone who has supported us and we hope to see you one last time. Reservations are greatly appreciated. To have more time to celebrate with you, we will be open Sunday, May 17 for our final closing night.
