The Southern Arizona Arts and Cultural Alliance and Native Seeds Search are throwing the third and final part of the Three Sisters series at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, August 17.
The Three Sisters is an agricultural practice that plants three ingredients — corn, beans, and squash — together wisely. Each contributes in a different way but the combined result is a more nutritious soil that caters to pest and weed prevention.
Instead of dining in the evening like the prior feasts, this event is a sampling-style brunch to celebrate these three ingredients.
In addition to the brunch, there will be plenty of mingling, live music, art activities, a bloody mary and mimosa bar, and more.
Tickets are $45 per person. The menu has not yet been released, but take a glance at the participating restaurants and vendors.
