Food Truck Roll Up: A Massive Street Food Party at Casino Del Sol

Feb 25, 20253 min read

Tucson Foodie and Casino Del Sol are bringing together more than 20 of Tucson’s best food trucks for one epic day of food, music, and community at AVA Amphitheater.

The Experience

This event isn’t just about grabbing a quick bite—it’s a celebration of Tucson’s incredible food truck culture. Casino Del Sol has lined up an amazing local band, Soulitify, to keep the energy high throughout the day, along with DJ Junes, who will be spinning from the AVA Amphitheater stage.

Bring your appetite and settle into the amphitheater’s shaded seating with a drink from the bar while enjoying the music and atmosphere. It’s the perfect way to experience Tucson’s thriving food truck scene all in one place.

Why We’re Doing This

Tucson has more food trucks per capita than cities like LA and Austin, yet they’re harder to find because they don’t cluster in pods the way they do elsewhere. That means some of the best food in town is rolling around the city, waiting to be discovered.

We’re making it easier by bringing them all together for a day. Food trucks have always played a huge role in Tucson’s culinary evolution—some even go on to open brick-and-mortar spots. One of my favorites, Antojo Poblano, started as a truck before becoming a full-fledged restaurant. Who’s next? You might just find your new favorite here.

The event takes place on Sunday, March 2, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Casino Del Sol’s AVA Amphitheater (5655 W. Valencia Rd.). Admission is free.

Food Truck Lineup

Here’s what’s on the menu:

  • Big Sexy Chicken Wangs – Wings, burgers, mini corn dogs, mac & cheese, waffle fries, and more
  • Black Jack Infusions – Handcrafted lemonade with unique flavors
  • Boriken Modern Puerto Rican Cuisine – Alcapurria, pastels, BBQ pinchos, boricua nachos, empanadas, and more
  • Col. Mustard’s Hot Dogs – New York/Chicago-style hot dogs, brats, Polish dogs, Frito chili cups (with a CLUE-themed menu)
  • CowPig – Unique burgers, chicken tenders, wings, buffalo fries, and more
  • Dukes Delicious Pizza – Pizza and cookies
  • Espressoul – Espresso, matcha, refreshers, frappes, juice, and pastries
  • Haus of Brats – Traditional bratwurst, frankfurters, currywurst with Bavarian potato salad, sauerkraut, sautéed onions, kettle chips
  • Kettlelicious Popcorn – Kettlecorn
  • Mafia Kitchen – Cannoli, Italian sodas, lemonades & mocktails (including their “pickle punch”)
  • Malta Joe’s Baked Goods – Traditional Maltese pastizzi
  • Mex-Sal – Quesabirria, birria burros, caramelos, and more
  • Morty’s Backyard – Gourmet burgers and loaded fries
  • Oh Wow! Mini Donuts – Mini donuts, donut sundaes, limeades, and more
  • Pupuseria Rosita’s – Salvadorian pupusas
  • Sarah’s Fresh-Tossed Pasta Bowls – Alfredo, Jamaican jerk chicken, lemony garlic shrimp, Cajun, broccoli chicken cavatappi, sausage & pepper onion, spaghetti, mac & cheese with Italian sausage
  • Sushi Hana – 25 different sushi rolls
  • Sweet Rolls and More – Hand-rolled ice cream with unique toppings
  • Takoyaki Balls – Japanese ramen, udon, yakisoba, katsu curry, and more
  • Why Not Breakfast – Waffles, French toast, breakfast burritos, bagel sandwiches, and more

This is your chance to taste some of Tucson’s best food trucks, enjoy live music, and immerse yourself in the city’s street food culture.

Join us at the Food Truck Roll Up at Casino Del Sol’s AVA Amphitheater, 5655 W. Valencia Rd., on Sunday, March 2 from 11-3PM.
