Last Minute All Souls Procession Specials

With around 100,000 participants expected to march or watch the All Souls Procession, it is no surprise that many restaurants and bars along or near the route are offering specials to cater to the masses.

Scott & Co will open at 5pm for procession-goers to get extra festive before the parade, and festivities will continue until midnight. Erik Evans and Matt Martinez will be serving up cocktails, a few of which are being resurrected from past menus.

While Dia de los Muertos typically pays tribute to those human family and friends that have passed, Evans and Martinez are extending the holiday to include canine pals as well.

“The Buddy punch is named for one of our regular regulars named Big Sean,” said Martinez. “His puppy died of distemper about a month ago and we wanted to make this drink for him.”

The Buddy Punch includes Pisco, Blanco Tequila, Grapefruit, Meletti Amaro, Nopales Syrup, and Allspice. Spot the full cocktail menu below.

The Here Today Gone Tomorrow cocktails are new creations, brought to life especially for All Souls, while From the Crypt includes those old favorites from past menus.

Both Gio Taco and Hotel Congress are providing free face painting until 6pm. Gio Taco will feature a DJ from 9pm until midnight.

Hub will feature limited quantity, All Souls-themed ice cream flavors such as Coconut Tres Leches Cake, Sonoran Hot Chocolate, Vanilla Canela Horchata, and Mexican Wedding Cookie.

Playground Bar & Lounge is offering $2 Bud and Bud Light, $4 Barrio Rojos (until 9pm), $4 Jameson, and $5 Specialty Cocktails.
