Portal: A Wellness and Cannabis Event Arrives at Rescue Me Wellness

Aug 4, 20263 min read

Join us for Portal, a wellness and cannabis event celebrating the stars above, each other, and spirituality all in one. The event kicks off at 6:30p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 8, at Tucson’s Rescue Me Wellness. The evening celebrates the Lion's Gate Portal and blends movement, relaxation, connection and intention throughout the night.

Each year on Aug. 8, many people observe the Lion's Gate Portal. This date traditionally marks fresh beginnings, courage, personal growth, abundance and manifestation. Whether guests embrace the spiritual symbolism or simply want to pause and reflect, the evening offers space to reconnect and set intentions.

Portal Event Experiences

Portal blends guided practices with Rescue Me Wellness's full outdoor yard. The lineup includes:

  • Yoga led by Lakshmi (R-YTT500), with guests bringing their own mats

  • A guided breathwork journey led by Lisa Ritter, PA-C, and Amy Monaco, LMT

  • A sound bath led by Lakshmi

  • A fire bowl manifestation ritual, where guests write down what they're ready to release and what they're calling into their life

  • Sponsor activations with D2 Dispensary, Prime Leaf Dispensary and Trulieve Dispensary, plus Halo Infusions

  • Full access to the Rescue Me Wellness yard, including a cold plunge, outdoor mineral spas, wet and dry saunas and red light therapy

  • El Charro CafĂ© will be on-hand with a special HOLA HEMP Tamale plate available for purchase ($13)

During the closing ceremony, guests place their written intentions into the fire as a symbolic act of letting go. Each guest also receives a white feather keepsake as a reminder of their intentions beyond the evening. Additionally, guests can add tailored IV infusions for an extra charge.
