Jun 25, 20251 min read

Tucson breakfast destination the Hungry Fox will open a second Tucson location in early 2026, expanding its reach after more than 60 years in business.

The upcoming restaurant will open in a 2,500-square-feet space at 6433 N. Oracle Road, within Orange Grove Village. The shopping center sits at the northwest corner of Oracle Road and Orange Grove Road.

Hungry Fox has earned a local following with its traditional American breakfast and lunch offerings, including fresh homemade bread and cinnamon rolls. The expansion marks a new chapter for the family-owned business.

Craig Finfrock of Commercial Retail Advisors, LLC represented both parties in the lease agreement. S1K, LLC owns the shopping center.

Founded in 2001, Commercial Retail Advisors specializes in shopping center leasing and tenant representation in southern Arizona.

@Lovinspoonfulstucson is closing after more than 20 years in Tucson. Its final day of service runs on Saturday, Oct. 24.

Customers can stop in between now and Saturday for one last meal. The team plans to sell down its inventory, though it hopes to have favorite dishes available. Regular hours remain 9am-3pm through the final day.

“Running this kitchen has been a labor of love, but the numbers just aren’t adding up anymore, and as parents, we have to make the hard choice to step back and take care of what matters most at home.”
