Introducing the Tucson Foodie Cookbook Club

Introducing the Tucson Foodie Cookbook Club

Jan 2, 20251 min read

Every year, I tell myself I’m going to cook more, and then… I don’t. This year I want to try something different.

Introducing the Tucson Foodie Cookbook Club!

Every last Wednesday of the month, we’ll meet at a different local brewery or bar (wherever we’re allowed to bring in outside food) to share dishes inspired by a featured cookbook (cookbooks not included).

The first meet-up is from 6 – 8 p.m. on Wednesday, January 29 at Tap & Bottle North. You’ll cook a dish from the cookbook, meet new people, and explore different recipes.

Tickets are $15 each and include admission and your first drink at Tap & Bottle North.

Cookbook Club lineup (so far):

  • January: “Taste of Tucson” at Tap & Bottle North (7254 N. Oracle Rd.) — Jackie Alpers, author of the cookbook, is joining us
  • February: “Dining In” at Slow Body Beer (831 E. 17th St.)
  • March: “Wine Food” at Revel Wine Bar (416 E. Ninth St.)

Don’t forget to purchase the cookbook ahead of time!

We recommend checking out these local bookstores to find your featured cookbook:

  • Antigone Books at 411 N. Fourth Ave.
  • Stacks Book Club at 1880 E. Tangerine Rd. #140
  • Mostly Books at 6208 E. Speedway Blvd.

There are only 25 spots available so snag yours ASAP!

Also, if you’re a Tucson Foodie Insider, check your inbox because we’ve shared a promo code for $5 off the ticket price.

Have cookbook suggestions? Please reach out to me!

For more information and to purchase your tickets, visit tkt.page. The first Cookbook Club gathering is at Tap & Bottle North, 7254 N. Oracle Rd.
