Every year, I tell myself I’m going to cook more, and then… I don’t. This year I want to try something different.
Introducing the Tucson Foodie Cookbook Club!
Every last Wednesday of the month, we’ll meet at a different local brewery or bar (wherever we’re allowed to bring in outside food) to share dishes inspired by a featured cookbook (cookbooks not included).
The first meet-up is from 6 – 8 p.m. on Wednesday, January 29 at Tap & Bottle North. You’ll cook a dish from the cookbook, meet new people, and explore different recipes.
Tickets are $15 each and include admission and your first drink at Tap & Bottle North.
Cookbook Club lineup (so far):
- January: “Taste of Tucson” at Tap & Bottle North (7254 N. Oracle Rd.) — Jackie Alpers, author of the cookbook, is joining us
- February: “Dining In” at Slow Body Beer (831 E. 17th St.)
- March: “Wine Food” at Revel Wine Bar (416 E. Ninth St.)
